On Monday evening, I got home from work. My wife and I had a snack before dinner. Afterward, we then decided to have a romantic interlude. Not more than 5 minutes after our session, I got up to go to the bathroom. Upon standing, the pain hit me. Sharp pain, up both sides of my neck, and the back and sides of my head. We called an ambulance. Upon arrival at the hospital, they decided that they wanted to rule out an aneurysm. A CT scan with and without dye, ruled it out. They gave me dilaudid for the pain. It helped relax me, but didn't really end the pain. Eventually the pain subsided, and after 9 hours in the ER, I went home. I took off work yesterday (Tuesday). All day, the pain was there, but not nearly as bad. Today, it's the same. Just a dull ache in the sides of my head, and occasionally down into the back of my head. It sometimes gets worse with movement, but sometimes it doesn't. The hydrocodone that they gave me for home use, seems to help a little, but not really. I've been researching cluster, migraine, stress, etc., headaches, and none of them seem to fit my personal situation. It's like I have bits and pieces of each one. I'm miserable, and terrified that the pain will come back again. It was so bad that I wanted to die. Is there anyone on here that has had different symtoms from all of the different types of headaches? Please help a scared man out.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
