Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.

Just saying hi. My head's been really bad for a few days now and I'm trying to face going in to work. Not sure I can do it. I could really use someone to talk to. Are these boards good? Does anyone know of any others?

Generally, when I tell other people around me, whether it be family or people I work with I have a really bad headache, they look at me funny and say " take some tylenol" like that is all that there is to it, and I can't tolerate the "simplest" pain!!!
