Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
Side-effects. Slight loss of appetite. Was able to take up to 400mg without problem.
(which carries its own side-effects, and discontinuation syndrome is a bitch)
We're trying to get them back up to levels they were at when they were working well now, and added in Lyrica. Hoping to shake some trees down.
I was on 150mg Effexor and 400mg Zonegran that first round.
I have also had Nortriptyline work for me, by itself, for about a year and a half, but then it stopped. That happens to people. Epileptics have to change meds too. It ain't just us.
Thanks! :)
it has helped with my migraines- thankfully- but i think i might have to up my dose. i am on 200 mg a day and am starting to get more frequent headaches and migraines again. he told me if i needed to up my dosage but im scared that im going to start forgetting more or start feeling too out of it.
Good luck & God bless,
Stacie
