I was just wondering if anyone has a BUNCH of well meaning friends and colleagues who have TONS of advice on how to deal with migraines... yet never had one themselves? If so how do you handle them, what do you do, (in a nice way)? I have had SO MUCH advice, suggestions, questions, etc... from, i'm sure, very well meaning people who have NEVER suffered from a migraine. Things like; did you try this or that, or I "heard" this works, or I know a great neurologist do you want their name and #, or have you had this, that, and the other tests done,to maybe it;'s REALLY this or that? Sometimes the stress of just telling and retelling, my story, what I've done, taken, tried, etc.... will trigger a headache! Any suggestions?
