I suffer from migraines and take daily preventative meds for it. It has been helping my migraines but the past 6 weeks I would say, I have been getting these strange headaches and I can't figure them out. It is shooting pain smack in the back of my head that comes on very suddenly. I have no other symptoms- except dizziness if the pain is really bad. And none of the migraine rx's, excedrine, advil, ect, work to make it better. And the strangest part is, I am getting them the same days every week- every Thurs, Fri and sometimes sat. I do not do anything different these days that I do the other days of the week so I find it extremely bizzare that I get them the same days every week. The last time I went to the dr I brought it up and he sent me for an mri to rule out a tumor- it came back fine. He didn't give me any explination or anything though. Obviously its not a migraine bc I don't have the other symptoms I normally have when I get a migraine- sick to my stomach, ect. Does anyone know what the heck could be causing this or what kind of headache this could be??

My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
