Migraines with aura having a slight stroke risk - that we've heard about.
Migraines with aura getting lesions that may or may not mean anything - that we've heard about too.
Migraines with aura possibly being the first sign of a downward spiral? This - not so much. But maybe we should, because education means knowledge. And knowledge means that maybe we can seek treatment. Currently there is no current cure, but if we know what we are dealing with - we can head off symptoms - like stroke - early.
The disease is called CADASIL.
Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy
1. Migraine w/ aura.
2. Family history of headache/strokes/dementia
3. White matter abnormalities

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Knowledge is power. Hopefully in our lifetime there will be more information and knowledge about migraine. More information about what they REALLY mean and what they are REALLY doing to us...in the long and short term.
