I am on Amitriptyline 20mg and have been for a long time. It does not make me pass out but it made me tired for about the first year. Keep in mind I also take 100mg of benadryl and 1mg of klonopin at night for sleep so I take some hardcore stuff lol. Before Amitriptyline I was taking the max amount of a heavy sleep aid called trazadone. I had been on that for 7 years but needed to go off that to get on Amitriptyline. I am on 400mg of topamax with the Amitriptyline and it has helped until recently. Now I am on a lot more percocet and DHE injections. I have a migraine several times a week and they are complex migraines. I had to leave my internship last week because my supervisor thought I was having a stroke. I was like no this happens but she couldn't understand me and my fiance had to come. I wasn't able to use the right side of my body and was falling asleep "passing out" standing up. Anyway, I don't have any side effects and over all I think it is a fantastic drug and I recommend it to anyone. I am SO glad it is working for you. It will totally improve your quality of sleep as well like you said!! Best of luck and continued success with it.

My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
