My husband has been struggling with a meth addiction and severe depression since July 2010. He has relapsed 4 times that I'm aware of, with the last relapse happening 6 days ago.The relapses happen when the depression is at its worst. He tried an inpatient treatment program this weekend but was out after one day. He says he wants help. He is so sick of feeling depressed, havng no motivation, and being pulled back into the meth use. However, he uses to try any type of NA type programs as because he has severe social anxiety and is very uncomfortable in group settings.yBecause the costs of inpatient and intensive outpatient facilities are so high, even with insurance....are there any options available to him that won't cost an arm and a leg and what are the success rates? I've heard there are chologists who spealso cialize in substance abuse.we Would affpossibly ard the insuurace copay for something like that and hopefully they could also treat the depression as well as the meth use. Any advice you could give would be so appreciated. I want my husband to beat both the meth and get help with his depression, so he can have his quality of life back...so our family gets our quality of life back.
