hi my name is leah and i am a methaodne patient, i was in a really bad point in my life and got really addicted to narcotics. I lost everything i owned, and i alkmost lost my daughter. I have been on methaodne for over 2 yeras now and have been completely clean from everything with the exception of methadone, which is used to help me stay off of drugs, it helps with the cravings and with the withdrawls.Since i have been on it, it's like i got my life back, i went from being homeless sleeping in a car. to having a nice new house, 2 cars, and a good job. and recently recieved my GED because i had dropped out of school. I get alot of ignorant people trying to tell me that i am a bad person for being on methadone, biut they are usaully the people who know nothing about methadone. I also have trouble finding support groups, well i did until recently, i had tried NA, and was not accepted there. But what i don't understand is how do people withthte same disease as you think they are better, because you chose a different way to get clean. anyway i was wondering if there is anyone from this site that knows anything about methadone and would like to talk to me.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
