Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.

I had my pap done and asked them to do blood work to see where my hormones are and of course they are right there at menopause and also I haven't had a cycle since May of this year. What fun. NOT! It just complicates everything else in my life. I am wondering if anyone can stir me in a direction where I can find out more or if what they are taking any vitamins and if they help.
