first a big hello to everybody, this is my first post! I am a (young!) 42 in June and at the beginning of this year it was discovered I had a very large fibroid. I am now on the fourth month of Zoladex implants to shrink the horrible thing before a hysterectomy (on my birthday, cheers) and have fast-tracked into the menopause. I expected the hot-flushes which in the first two months seemed just like one long flush but since the last implant I can hardly keep my eyes open and the dizziness is dreadful. I also feel pain in my feet and hands first thing in the morning, sensitiviy to touch, and itching. I can tolerate this until the op but I certainly don't want it afterwards, and am worried about re-introducing hormones into my body as I suffered almost psychotic PMT when "intact" as it were. Any ideas about "natural" foods etc.? Thank you for reading this long post anyway! Love to all. Lisa x
