Ive been on HRT 3 months on a .625mg-2.5mg estrogen/progesterone. My ears started ringing in menopause in June 2009 which hasnt been fun, at all. Before HRT I had a lot of anxiety, mood swings, depression, fatigue, insomnia, eyebrows thinned, wrinkles were more noticeable, had funny head feelings, some nausea/upset stomach. 3 months on HRT I noticed mood swings gone, wrinkles and skin more plumped out, nails grew fast, depression lessened, anxiety lessened, fatigue diminished. 4 days ago I woke up with a period. I had all the premenstrual headache, cramping, backache. Ive been bleeding for 4 days, just like a period and almost feel like I did before HRT was started. At this point I feel like I did before HRT and if this is how it feels to be on it then no thanks~ It could just be that my dose needs changed to a lower dose, or to something different but I have an OBGYN appt. Friday morning and they are doing a vaginal ultrasound as well. I thought HRT was supposed to make you feel better not worse. Could I be unrepsonsive to HRT?? Menopause...my doctor keeps saying "it will get better", well it needs to hurry up and come on!
