I went to my doctor yesterday to see if there was some alternative thing that he'd recommend to help my hot flashes and he said that Prempro is perfectly safe if not taken for a prolonged time like 3-4 years. He said if it's only for 1-2 years, it's perfectly safe. He called in the prescription but I just called the pharmacy and told them to put it back on the shelf and that I'll call them if I decide that I want it. I'm still not convinced that this is perfectly safe with all the cancer risks that I hear about. What are your thoughts on this stuff? Also, if you've taken it and then stopped, were your hot flashes worse than before you took it or about the same? I was thinking about maybe taking it just over the summer.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
