Menopause Support Group
Menopause is the physiological cessation of menstrual cycles associated with advancing age. It normally occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, when the body begins to slow and stop the production of eggs, estrogen and progesterone production decreases, and menstruation diminishes, eventually stopping altogether.

I have accepted, even embraced, the face that I am going through menopause at such an early age,42. However I do feel cheated that my libido is being taken from me as well. I find it so disheartening that there has been so much research and 'magic pills' created to fix mens disfunctioning members and there is so little information out there and no magic little blue pills to fix a woman's disfunctioning sexual member (if that is what you could call it.) Does anyone know of any studies out there? Lexapro has killed my libido along with meno. I just started welbutrin xl 150mg to try to offset the side effects. Anyone have any other suggestions? This is really affecting my otherwise strong marriage.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
You are not alone...hang in there.
I know this is disappointing to women but for me acceptance really helped. I think once I relaxed over it, that helped too. In any case, I feel for all of you..
