I have Meniere's. My last episode was two months ago and was brought on by alcohol, coffee, and stress. At the time I had a very loud ringing in my ear, ear pain, and hearing loss. After experiencing vertigo one night I woke up and the ringing was gone. My hearing also got better. I stayed away from alcohol and coffee and was doing better but, one night I listened to some loud music and afterwards my ear started ring again. Ever since then my Men. has been acting up with fullness and significant hearing loss. I keep hoping for a major attack of vertigo because that seemed to help thing last time but, I haven't had one and the symptoms are driving me crazy. I am scared that this time things won't clear up. I'm thinking about inducing an attack by drinking coffee or having some alcohol. Any advice?
