I am trying to understand all this I've been diagnosed with this apparently due to some fistula repairs that i had done to my left ear. I truly don't have vertigo , what i mostly feel is a slight imbalance. I've had testing done and due have a reduced reponse on the left side, but according to my vestibular therapist my right side has almost fully recompensated. What I do have is a moderate to severe hearing loss in the left ear, to the point where my hearing aid is not doing me to much and i just got it 2 months ago. I've read that in the late stages of this disease is when the hearing really goes and if that is the case why don't I experience vertigo. Believe me I am grateful that I don't I'm just confused. If any body has any input would greatly appreciate it thanks.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
