My name is Maurissa and I was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease by an ENT last year in august. I put off going to the doctor as long as possible because I assumed the strange drop attacks of vertigo and ear ringing would eventually go away. But they only progressed until a state of desperation. I was diagnosed at 22, now 23, which apparently is a young age for the alleged disease. I was having severe vertigo attacks about two to three times a week. The anxiety and stress that I had fearing an attack was almost enough to cause panic attacks. The vertigo attacks sneak up like a strange numbness in my head and all the sudden the world spins and I am bed ridden for at least 12 hours a day with constant vomitting and inability to walk at all. I am trying to finish my biology degree and support myself through college but this has brought my daily life activities and goals to a screeching halt. I have changed my diet to avoid salt, sugar, wheat, corn, gluten, eat mostly vegetables and organic meats, see a chiropractor twice a week with laser therapy (similar to acupuncture), am on a large regiment of vitamins, and am prescribed several medications. I haven't had a vertigo attack for about a week and a half now, which (knock on wood) stays that way as long as possible. But the tinnitus in my left ear is almost unbearable and I feel no one in my life can even begin to understand the depression and helplessness it brings. I was just curious if anyone has any suggestions to alleviate the paining focus my brain has on the incessant ringing. It's starting to keep me up at night and completely interfere with school. Much appreciated

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
