I just ran across this site and have been reading some entries and some of the advice, etc. Wow, others that can relate to this awful syndrome (I guess that's what they call it). One thing I find interesting is even though the symptoms appear the same, reactions to medications differ, triggers differ, and the intensity differs. I've been going thtough a rough couple weeks where the vertigo is sudden and severe, sometimes lasting less than a minute, but always an after effect of exhaustion and light headed. Had to work from home today since I had an episode and couldn't clear my head. In any case, this may have been discussed prior, but the one thing that's ever worked for me is a diuretic called 'Lasic', had to take it with a horse pill (Potassium). Worked for nearly three months (I could hear whispers again), and no vertigo (yes, I felt normal). Then it started slowing down, my MD had me double the dose and it worked again, but alas not to last. I got six months though, which is something I had missed for so long now.

BUT.... I feel like my visits are not what they use to be. He...
I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
