Hi there, I'm new to the group. I guess I don't know for sure if I have MCTD yet, but I'm guessing it's only a matter of time. I had elevated RNP, borderline negative ANA as of 5 months, and routinely have fat fingers. About 2 months ago, I started having trouble breathing when sitting down or laying flat. It comes and goes. The doc told me yesterday, my VC was 70% and my TLC was 80%, which indicates some sort of restrictive lung involvement. I'm waiting for a pulmonoligist to look at the results. They are probably going to do a CT scan to get a better diagnosis. I've been freaking out that I may have fibrosis or something that's gonna kill me in a few years. How common is reduced lung capacity?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
