My boyfriend has been a marihuana addicted (I'll say around) 5-6 years.
When I met him , I was like..i dont't think this relationship is not gonna last..cause he's a drug addict but at some point I didn't care about that. He really love me and he is such a nice person that why should I care if he's a marihuana consumer. He always says that the day he becomes a father he'll quit or even before that but i don't think is gonna be that easy.
I don't really know how to help him cause everytime I talk about this he's like oh weed is not bad ...oh i'll never try other drugs.. oh I'll quit someday..
I'm afraid this could affect our relationship at somepoint or even the future family that i could have with him.
I just need strong arguments so next time I'll talk to him , at least I'm gonna make him think why he shouldn't be doing weed.

Honestly i don't know him but i believe that when he becomes a father he will quit. I was a toker for a long time, and we all know when it's time to quit. Either when we get too depressed, familyissues or for someone else.

You're not gonna like me for saying this and I may catch greef from others here, but you are pulling a "Bait and switch". You have accepted and loved him as he is and are now saying he must change. He is the same as he was when ya'll got together. It isn't easy to quit. I didn't quit when I had kids but I didn't promise I would. The only stong arguement you can use is that you have decided you are not going to stay in this relationship with a smoker and that it has taken you this much time to realize what you thought you knew in the beginning. If he then quits because he wants to to save ya'lls relationship then great. But don't go another moment letting him beleive that he is OK. My wife just assumed that I would grow out of it. We have argued in the past years and she now has threatened to leave me after 26 years of marrage. So I quit. Don't do that to him. Weather you beleive weed is bad or not so bad or whatever. Don't lead him on thinking you will change him later because that is unfair.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
