I hear all of these reports about the post work out endorphin rush and how it is supposed to be a mood booster but does anyone experience a post work out depression or am I just weird? A lot of the time after I get home from the gym I start going over everything that is wrong with me and my life and I just depress myself. Often it is not even a conscious thought just a "another day another pointless existence" kind of feeling. I could even be feeling pretty good pre-gym but after I get home everything just goes down hill. The only thing I can think of is that I work out so hard that my appetite and my need for food makes me cranky and more susceptible to negative thoughts.
