A question for those of you who are a bit more educated on lymphedema. I was just diagnosed. Do compression stockings aid in the lessening of fluid accumulation in the legs (where most of mine is, from the upper thighs to feet and my hands and fingers)? Also, if the compression stockings are of benefit, anyone know where you can get a larger size? The places around here, the largest calf size is like 19 1/2 inches around or something and I start at 20 inches, sometimes high in the mornings. My ankles are at like 13, sometimes higher, inches. I'm so relieved to finally have an accurate diagnoses though so we can treat it and now we know why the Lasix wasn't working for me! Anyhow, hope someone can help me! Thanks!
