Flagyl seems to have made my symptoms worse, and brought back old aches and pains from several years ago, that I now suspect were lyme-related. Well anyway, I'm done with the Flagyl, and those old aches and pains are continuing, so how long will they last? They are debilitating and causing me to be very depressed. LLMD didn't put me on flagyl, I was taking a short course for a different reason. Also I seem to have a new symptoms, sharp shooting pain through my left kidney/back area. Not sure if it's nerve pain. I really don't want to go get it checked out, b/c I know they will insist on yet another CT scan, which I have had wayyyy too many of to even consider another, thanks to lyme disease.

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
