Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.

I now have to have my gall bladder out. My LLMD ordered an ultrasound to rule out some stuff. And I have gall stones. I meet the surgeon on the 19th and then schedule the surgery after that.
In my past (before my Lyme diagnosis) we called all of my health issues "Julie Factor". Guess "julie Factor" is still around.
At least now I know why I got diarhea so easily. I thought it was all of the meds (even thogh I take great probiotics) And we thought my liver was a little inflammed but now we know the truth.
My husbands spin on it is that that is one less body part we will have to worry about. We already do not have to worry about the appendix and now the gall bladder is out.
Hey maybe I should ask for a percentage of my life insurance since parts of me are dieing off!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I had mine out many yrs ago and if it is any comfort, it was a relativly easy surgery and the recovery was easy. That is if they are able to do it laproscopicly(sp) wow that was hard to spell.I wish you the best,I have never gotten a discount with all the parts they have taken out of me. Good luck
