Hello All.
I was wondering if there is anyone out there that not only has Medicare but has gotten Medicare to cover IV Rocephin administered outside of the doctor's office. I know they will approve and pay for a mid-line but my understanding is they won't pay for the actual medication unless the meds are pushed in the doctor's office.
I am completely frustrated over this situation. I keep hearing different things regarding this matter and I just want to begin the treatment. I'm at the breaking point and KNOW I need to begin treatment ASAP, but all the red-tape is getting in the way. Any suggestions on the best way to get Medicare to cover the meds so I can do the daily injections at home?
Thanks for all your help.
I wish the best to all.

My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Just a thought.
