Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere. It is now one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the U.S. Lyme disease is caused by infection with the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, and is primarily transmitted to humans as well as dogs, horses and other domesticated animals by the bite of infected ticks.
I have had several mammograms and been called back to have the ultra sounds. So far they have never found anything wrong with the ultra sounds and it is just a check to be sure. Hang in there, I will pray that they find nothing on yours either. I believe most of the time this is the case and it is just a second check to make sure nothing is wrong.
I have also had to have further testing done after a mammogram.
