Hi know some of you have had problems with insurance companies. Mine offers an in network coverage for out of network care if services are not provided in the network. I live in Northeast PA. The only Dr I could find who would see me is just over 100 miles away in NY State. The ins co said they denied this coverage b/c there IS a doctor who will see me on Aug 27 (this Wed). This Doctor... I MARYLAND!!!! BALTIMORE!!! Nearly 4 hours away. My doctor of choice sees patients on Saturday, and my inlaws coincidentally live near his office so I can go up on fridays and not get up at 5 am to make an am appt... My husand drives me b/c my fatigue is too much... I would fall asleep trying to drive the 2h ours and change. Has anyone had any luck appealing the ins co? I can get out of network coverage which will cover some... but it just T's me off that they think this is acceptable. If the understood chronic fatigue, joint pain, and muscle myalgia they would understand how ridiculous this alternative is. Someone told me that they always deny the first time, but if you appeal you can wear them down. Anyone have any luck iwth that?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
