I have been recently dx with chronic lyme; after 2 yrs of misdx of fibromyalgia. I started doxy and metron about a week ago and I felt horrible for the last 5 days. I can hardly get out of bed and my pain, even with pain meds, has doubled. I was told this is herxhiemer reaction and should last about a week and then I'll feel my normal lousy self and then in 3 months I should feel much better and many of my syptoms will be gone. I was just wondering if this is the pattern that others with chronic lyme have followed. I want to understand what is happening to me and what to expect. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
