I found out that my (?) LLD doesn't even do parenteral abx. Since I have not been able to tolerate oral meds, yesterday he basically said good bye. His referral was not really a referral - only a phone number to a very Lyme unfriendly organization. I'm so frustrated!!! I found good results with oral Ceftin and Biaxin, but they kicked up too many potentially serious gastrointestinal issues. Now I must have an endoscopy and a colonoscopy before I will be seen by another LLD! Until then, all the progress I've made will more than likely halt and go backward. Has anyone else had to deal with stuff like this? ~Doreen~
