I'm trying to figure out the difference in ticks. As I don't live in an endemic Lyme area,I was recently dismissed at a doctor's office.I'm not even really sure what deer ticks look like.Even though I've researched it on-line,it still seems hard to tell in the wild. The original offender that I removed just before getting ill,was a large tick with a spot on its back.Does anyone know any facts about it?Is it possible that other species besides the deer tick transmit this disease? The area where i had gotten the tick was actually prevelant with deer.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
