I'm sure if I don't have Lupus, that I definitely have something wrong with me. On Halloween, I caught the stomach flu my son had gotten from school. Anyhow, when he had he got over it in just a few short hours, thank goodness. I, however did not. I was so sick, I thought I was going to have to go to the emergency room. I was sick both ways (to delicately put it), so bad, that I had a hard time having the strength to even stand up and vomit. I became extremely dehydrated. I was so thirsty, but I was scared to drink, because when I had tried to at an earlier attempt, I threw up so hard, and so bad. Finally when the vomiting subsided, then the most horrible pain in my knees occured. The worst joint pain I've suffered yet. My elbows hurt too, but the knees were the worst. Still through all my pain I wasn't about to let my children down on Halloween night, and as sick as I was I managed to take them out trick or treating, but I was in agony. I'm so glad to be feeling better, and able to eat, and drink again.
