I had a spinal tap done on Thursday. Right b4 they did t I told them that I am alergic to the numbing meds but they didn't listen. Anyways They injected me with the numbing meds and my heart raced to 170 beats per min. I than began to feel light headed I told the nurse I was going to pass out.. Which I did I woke up to the nastiest smell I have even smelled it burned my nose. By that time they were almost done. When they were done they told me that my eyes rolled behind my head and I was jerking.. To make a long story short. I had to lay on my back for 6 hrs in the hospital after that they released me. I have had thee worst headache from hell ever for 4 days now I have a hard time getting out of bed. I have been vomiting and I have dizziness to boot. My nose started bleeding today do to the severe pressure I have that shoots up my spine to my nose.. UGHHH!! They gave me morphine and darvocet that didn't work at all. Anyways anyone ever had a blood patch done? They told me that if my headache doesn't go away by Monday they will do a blood patch. I am sick of being sick and I'm even more sick of being stuck in bed.. Anyways thanks for letting me vent hope everyone is well..
