Hello, I'm 20 years old and I've been sick for more than a year now. It started when I had vertigo at school and my legs felt like cement. I've been running a low-grade temp everyday that runs from 99-99.9F. My hair has become very thin, and I have no appetite. I have a hard time taking a shower because my legs and hands shake. One doctor told me I had panic disorder, and psychiatrists have told me no. I have had over 20 blood tests, colonoscopies, endoscopies, mris, catscans, upper gi's and no one can find out whats wrong. I've had 3 UTI's in the past year. My joints are so stiff in the morning I have a hard time getting out of bed, i use to be an avid tanner, in tanning beds until it would make me too dizzy and I developed blisters on my chest and feet. I need help, my rheumatologist is baffled and he suggests I go to NYC columbia presbyterian. I need advice on which doctor is the best. I dont trust doctors anymore, no one can give me an answer all they did was load me up on antidepressants and xanax, the tremors in my hands are still there. I was also wondering if anyone went through the same thing as me, my blood count is borderline and my ana is negative.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
