I am wondering if any of you have type 2 diabetes and lupus or sjogrens? I have all 3 and my new rheumy just started me on cellcept about 1 week ago. I've been in a flare and my sugar has been through the roof so my endocrinologist has increased my insulin from 6 to 18 units at bedtime. I am still having a hard time getting it under control. It has never gotten this out of control before. I am wondering if anyone has run into this problem or knows if maybe the cellcept can cause sugar levels to go up? They put me on cellcept because the steroids elevate my sugar and I am allergic to plaquenil.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
