Hi, all, I'm new to the group. I've been off from work for over 5 months now hoping the rest and reduced stress would assist in getting my lupus under control. I have been in an active flare for almost two years now. My doctor has now told me I need to seek long term disability. I've been an attorney for 18 years and am having an extremely hard time with this thought. I'm sure others have similar stories. I'd appreciate any advice. I'd also like to know what to expect in the process of getting disability.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse.
