I get this pain in the right side of my body. I think it is actually a flare. It starts in the neck/shoulder area. It also impairs my breathing. When I breathe in it feels like my ribs are broken, and I can only breathe shallowly. It hurts even worse to lay down, with all the body pressure on it. The docs have come up with Thorasic Outlet Syndrome, Spinal Stinosis, 2 Ruptured Discs and just inflamation. All the radiology comes back just fine. Except for the stinosis and the discs. But they can't pinpoint why the pain is where it's at. The only thng they do is raise the prednisone, but that doesn't help with the pain. It still takes 2-3 days for it to subside. Even if I catch it early, it still runs its course. I got a shot of Tordahl(?) this last time and it seemed to help. At least it took the edge off so I could sleep. Anyone else have a oddball Lupus pain they want to share?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
