I have been trying to figure out ways to help out my mom for a really long time because she is super sick. Insurance and medical costs caused her to get a divorced this past may so she no longer has any financial support except for my grandpa. She is trying to apply for disability, but an attorney told her that she has to have a year's worth of recent information about her illness and because of the financial problems, she hasn't been able to get the necessary medical attention. We are so lost, and so confused on where to start. I'm only 18, and can hardly afford to make it on my own, much less help her with finances as well...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated on how to get started with this whole disability crap! :)

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
