Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.

You know it depends on what the symptoms are? Please tell me what is going on. Judy

Typcially it depends on how bad the flare is and what all is involved--normally your symptoms and how ill you already are. Are you in a flare right now?

I think what will happen is, you will kind of start to know when you are going ot have a flair up. My first flair up I had no idea what was happening so I went to the dr. and got some predisone because I was in so much pain. After that, they figure out things to kill the disease so you don't get them. It does depend on your symptoms.
