what is the best exersise for you? not just for the health (body) part of it, but for your mind and soul. you know the whole thing. whats best for you!

Well, one thing that I have found with disease is your limits! My rhume. suggested Yoga only...and I understand why. It's all my body could take. It's really hard some days but I make myself do it and I have to say that I do feel better when I get through it. I got the Better Belly Yoga DVD from Prevention. I live in a small town so doing it at home is much more convenient not to mention I like the privacy. Try it, it might just work for you too, but I suggest asking your doctor first before you decide on anything. Best of luck to you.

i just found io had lupus i have`spent days in my bed.i dont have much muscle left in my legs so i cant stand on my pwn and today a nurse put me on the floor and put me into basic yogo positions and i can say tonight i have legs not just logs that are in pain. i use to do yoga and dance before i got sick.now i look forward to getting my legs stronger and getting back to it

Lack of muscle strength is one of my most disturbing symptoms besides the memory confusion. I did not know Lupus affects the muscles.

I do best when I can get to the arthritis pool. This is a no weight bearing exercise and it really helps me relieve my pain without hurting myself. PLUS I love the warm water and the jets.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
