Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.

I also have trouble driving. If I get tired or upset or hot I start to get shaky. I'm afraid to drive now and only do it short distances

I have a 20 min drive to work...it's usually not to bad. I sometimes drive 2 1/2 hours to see a friend on occasion and those trips wear me out. The trip there's not so bad it's the drive back I hate doing.

I too am not hip on driving.. It seems like it takes so much effort to press the gas. My poor legs. Thank goodness for cruise control and the willingness to ask others to drive.
