I'm 26 years old, have my master's degree, and have been on a leave of absence from work for over two months. I'm supposed to return on Thursday, but I know I'm not well enough to work and will probably lose my job. The stress is taking it's toll on me emotionally and physically. I'm afraid my only option right now is to file for disability. Has anyone else done that? Or even partial disability? How about in Illinois? If so, how does it work? What are some good resources? How do you get insurance in the meantime? I would just like a heads up on what I should expect. Thank you in advance for any advice, tips, etc. you can offer. I greatly appreciate this support group!
