Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.
There isn't any treatment that I know of you just try to not let them get to cold. Be careful with the hot water you can scald your skin with out really feeling it. Try a heating pad set to medium. Do not set to high as that can cause tissue damage because you can not tell it is burning you.
Good luck.........Deb
Good luck to you all and thanks again!
I refused to take heart medication, what I actually been taking since June 07 was fish oil (1T) or equivalent to at least 1 gel every meal, and natural vitamin E (400 iu)..they all help with your circulation and thin out your blood. Try to avoid dieretics like caffeine and soda. Drink lots of pure water...and use olive oil instead of trans fat or hydrogenated oils in all the labels.
