This topic has come up a lot lately. I knew in the past that it contributed and added to migraines and headaches, but had no idea about the rest until it was brought to my attention. Ingesting this deadly product can not only make you sick, but keep you that way as well. Aspertame, aka equal, nutrasweet, splenda, spoonful (and companies try to change or give new names so you will not notice them in products you consume). It is a substance that when getting to the temperature in your body converts to formaldahyde and your body cannot get rid of it, it is stored in your organs and such. Aspertame can cause: Cancers, Lupus, MS, Parkinsons, Dementia, and many, many more diseases. When you keep consuming this, you do get addicted (even unconsciencely) and your body craves it more and more, thus keeping you sick and making you worse.
It is in 9000+ food and products we consume everyday, including gum, candy, artifically sweetened foods, and most diet foods. I have tried very hard to cut this out completely, I read every label. It is very time consuming, but for my health, it is priceless. Try to check the foods you eat and see if cutting it out of your diet might help you get better atleast with your symptoms.

Snoopy--yes it is definately terrible for children and for adults. Although it is approved by the FDA for consumption and I can't understand why. I guess cheap way to make a big buck.

and as for aspertame in foods, I vote for small amounts of maple syrup or honey once in a while instead.
