Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.

I was wondering if anyone knows what their ana numbers are. I asked my doc what mine were and the numbers he gave me seemed extremely high. I just would like to reassure myself that I'm not way off the charts.

Mine was 1:320. Just so you know though, the numbers will vary according to which lab does your test. I might come to your lab and get a 1:1280, you just never know. It's also going to vary according to how active your disease is the day you're tested. If you're in a bad flare, the numbers will probably be higher than if you've been feeling good for a while.
