Lupus Support Group
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which the immune system cannot distinguish between threats (like viruses and bacteria), and healthy cells and tissue. As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus.
Well, I was prescribed Adderall XR and it is AMAZING (FYI: I was prescribed it because of the "fog" which is indeed very ADD like). I have so much energy that I just run around getting stuff done. The first day I took it, I shoveled half a foot of snow out of my driveway 2x!!, scrubbed my house from top to bottom, did 3 loads of laundry, baked two loaves of banana bread, read a book, and the list just goes on and on. I haven't had energy to do stuff like this in forever.
What's even better is that I feel my pain has decreased. It just didn't bother me at all. I feel like a normal person again, like I could run a mile no problem.
