I just want ppl to know how hard it is to have Lupus, or any illness. I feel we are written off by the government, and I think we as Lupus patient need to help get awareness out and do something in out town or city, and or state to help raise money for a cure. Lupus is very hard to diagnose, and many people are suffering from this as we speak. Lupus affect African American more than any other race. I'm sure u all know u can live a normal life per say, but I find that very hard. I have to take it day by day with having Lupus. In my city we have a lot of events going on. The next activity we have is called Strike Out For Lupus. We have a local baseball team, and they play a game, and half of the ticket sells go to the Lupus Foundation of Northwest Indiana. We do Chili cookouts, and just a reminder October is National Lupus month. We normally have a walk to raise awareness and money to support, and find a cure.

I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
