I just wanted to let everyone know that there have been two very important movies to come out recently, (pun intended, LOL), that are making wonderful strides towards helping people understand and/or accept LGBT people. One is called, For the Bible Tells Me So. I rented that one and saw it myself, and it was riveting. It deals with several Christian families that have a gay family member and despite their negative religious teachings about homosexuality came to understand and accept their children's sexual orientation. The movie says way more than I can type here, you have to see it to see what I mean. Another movie that I haven't seen, but I have read about it in the Gay News, is called Inlaws & Outlaws. There are churches and other organizations accross the country that are showing these films to groups of people and the change in people's viewpoints after seeing them is staggering and gives my cynical heart hope. I reccommend these and I want to spread the word so that we can stop some of the stigmas and discriminations.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
