I saw the movie "The Help" this weekend. It was very good and well acted. It was about the early 60's and the plight of the black maid. But it was also much more. It also showed how the plight of the white middle class women were expected to delegate their housekeeping and child raising to the help and not work outside the home. It was sad and funny and about finding empowerment. I highly recommend it and will be reading the books as well now. I'm always on the lookout for good movies so please post your recommendations or movies to avoid. Cheers!
