Last night while my partner and I were sleeping, I woke up three different times from her phone going off...12:30AM, 2AM, and then 5AM. It wasn't a call, it was her email notifier. Each time I woke up and looked at the clock I was thinking who in the world would be messaging her at those hours. Each time she showed me that it was just messages from some pet support group. That's great and all, however each time it happened it became more and more frustrating. She said she tried to turn off the volume on the notifier. Problem here is, she could not understand why I would get upset about being woken up at those hours and why it seemed odd. She basically is telling me that my reaction about it is due to my bipolar. Sure it could be triggers. But what if it is just valid human emotions? How do you tell the difference?? I mean she doesn't have bipolar, just me. But she questions me alot about messages on my phone, etc. So she has human emotions, but I cannot? I am curious to know if anyone else would have been upset by this? I feel my feelings were valid and natural emotions.
