I love my partner with all my heart and at the same time, today, I feel like I want to "buzz-bomb" her. She is so moody and has taken to say "Oh I forgot" when the truth is that she did/does not want to do this or that in the
first place. Drives me crazy!! If it is not on
her personal agenda it gets forgotten. She does not like V8 so she forgets to get it at the store, she did not want to get up for church so she hit the snooze a million times and then puttered around and then went late and then left early only to forget to bring home the bulliten for me. And then she went to the GIANTS game with her friend Joyce!!!

I have been not feeling well since Tuesday night and have been home from work and stuck in the house and she has been out and about and I am feeling shell shocked. Sometimes, I think that she prefers to go here or there without me and likes it when I am sickso I can't bitch. We have talked about this more times than once and she says that it is not true she loves to send time with me...She blames it on hormones!!! RAHHHHHH!!! A 43 woman is more of a baby then a baby that is teething 24/7!

Wow! I hope the vent helped! When you are ina better head space and healthy to boot. why dont you two go out to your favorite cafe or something and you begin a heartful discussion aobut how you are feeling. no sentences that begin with ..."you" just stay in your own seat and say, "I am feeling like you do not care about me like you use to" I am feeling forgotten. I am feeling needy does that turn you off? Talk, talk it out. sometimes when we really settle into a relationship, that is when the real healing work begins. Stuff that your parents did or didn't do comes up and it only looks like its "your girlfriend" when in fact, it is your inner little girl needing to have her needs met.
Good for you for not exploding on her..good luck sweetie!

did u say ur partner was 43.this is only a suggestion ok but it could be the start of the menopause.there is a blood test to check that.i have been a right old so and so with my g/f over the past year or so turned out i am premenopausal i was put on hrt and feel more me again.

Ladies u r both so right on track...I am hyper sensitive to Laura's moods, especially when I don't feel well. My inner child just wants TLC and so does hers and...Shoot I just love her!!! I just needed to vent...Thank you God, that I know that that this too will pass...

Good point there. I had my first hot flash at 43 and now have period every 3 months or so, at 46. Welcome to the club!

Sounded like you really needed to let off some steam! yet, from the sounds of it I would be feeling the same way you are right about now. I have an idea maybe you could take her back to the place that you guys first went for your first day and sit down and say hey, I think it would be cool if we found things we'd like to together i.e hiking. camping. foot ball. crafts, arts anything maybe that will mellow things out and open her eyes a little bit more to how your feeling and let her know it's not a passing feeling you've been having sometimes that gets them to notice.

    theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??
